Just an update on what I'm working on. If you didn't know already I'm now working full time as a Web Designer, and I also make music. I combined the two to make a website for my music. And so without further ado I present... *drum roll please*

Hark!

If you're wondering where Gravity's Just A Theory 3 is, keep wondering. I have a full time job now doing web design which is great, although it doesn't leave me a great deal of time to work on other projects.

One thing I have been working on though is music. Hurrah! I've uploaded the odd track to the Audio Portal but most of my recent music is going on my music website: maffiss.com

I'm working on a 6 track EP and it's going quite well so far. I just finished a new song called 'Wings Like Eagles', it's an instrumental track based on Isaiah 40. You can hear that with your ear boxes here!

GJAT3 is coming along nicely. I've got 22 seconds done for a 2 and half minute long song. So there's still quite a way to go. The song I'm using is 'Rapid Eye Movement' by Jimmy Wahlsteen. You can find it on the internets if you want to give it an ear listen.

Here's a still image that I made in Illustrator as an idea of what the finished scene might look like (this one isn't animated yet, but I've started). So far the hills, mountains, skyscrapers, sky and windmill have all been animated and brought in nicely. The rest is still to be done but I have a feeling it's not going to fill the whole song so I'll need to add some more stuff.

I haven't done much flash animation of late and I think it's time I did. I feel my imagination tingling and my flash senses... sensing. So I'm giving you lovely people the chance to have your say on what you think I should do. I want to make something in the style of Gravity's Just A Theory or Colours (ie. something that makes people feel happy, without words). I can do a sequel to Gravity's Just A Theory or Colours, I think my animation and art style has improved a lot since those and I could probably do a better job of them now. Or I could do something completely new.

Lo. So if you've been following my music under the name 'Ogvidius' (probably not, as not many people do) then you may want to know that I'm making music under a new name now, which is 'Maffiss'.

I'm working on a flash animation called 'Connected' (pictured below) which was originally meant for the Animation10 competition, but as I missed the deadline that won't be happening, but it's nearly finished and it seems a shame to let it go to waste so I'll finish it off and post it here on Newgrounds as well as on my website. Which brings me to my next point....

I'm in a collab that will be coming up soon, not sure if I'm allowed to mention what it is because it's a bit of a private thing but it should have some really interesting results, so I'm looking forward to working on that.

You may or may not know that as well as doing flash, I do a lot of design and film work. Well, I launched a new blog this January called '365 Designs' in which I'll be designing something every day for a year, which is really tiring! I mentioned in my last post that I was working on Gravity's Just A Theory 3, and another animation, well, the two have merged and become 'Happy Up Here'. A new animation that is in a similar style to the Gravity's Just A Theory toons, but with the song 'Happy Up Here' by Royksopp, which is more electronic, upbeat, fast and, well, happy! It clocks in at just under 3 minutes, and so far I've done around 15 seconds, so it could be a while yet!

Just sayin...

So I'm going to be working on GJAT3 fairly soon, or at least something very similar, it may become something that isn't part of the GJAT series. So what would you guys like to see in the next installment, or what would you not like to see? Any suggestions on content, music or anything else, let me know!

In other news, I'll be doing a short animation for a competition which should be done fairly soon. I'm also working on redesign of my website (again!), and working on some new musics.
