I started making a new cartoon a few days ago which can be seen here in it's current incomplete state. I have come across various problems.

1 - I don't want to use dialogue because i feel it would spoil the atmosphere
2 - how do you tell a good story and make it funny, without dialogue?
3 - the car bit looks rubbish :3

so, if you can help with any of those problems, let me know, or if you just want to give some Constructive Criticism, let me know :D

Hi, just a quick update to let you know that i will be very busy with exams in the next few weeks so there won't be too much animation going on, i have finished my part of the portal and am still waiting for that to fill up, but for now i am making a remake of an old cartoon (MMATCS) with better graphics, and hopefully funnier! Below is a picture of the first scene i have drawn out, can anyone tell me how to improve that rock thing on the bottom right? it looks really rubbish to me :D

So, there's not been much 'Portal' stuff on the portal for a while, and I've just made a new song using the Portal voices, and changing the pitch to make GLaDOS sing, it's called 'Hip Hop GLaDOS' I put it on audio portal but it's taking far too long, so i put it on youtube. Time to try out this new fangled embed video thing!
Let me know if you're interested, i want very talented people :) with at least a score of 4? maybe that's too much to ask :P I want this to reach a score of 4 also and hopefully a daily first, and that requires a lot of effort, which is why i put it up as a collab, it would be easier to just do a few seconds each. I have been requested for the original doodle to be posted on here, and so, here it is! Ironic thing is, on the back it says things about drug testing, cos it was in biology class, plus, quite a lot of people thought i was on drugs at the time lol, strange. (btw i wasn't, and i never have done drugs)

The full title is 'Gravity's Just a Theory, Anyway' but that doesn't fit. Anyway, check out my new toon on the NG portal, just submitted this second! Tell me what you think, message me, leave a review, whatever!

Just to let you know that my new toon, entitled 'Gravity's Just a Theory, Anyway' which will most likely have to be shortened for NG, is nearing completion, my aim is for it to be live this weekend! (huge cheer from the crowd) but it probly wont me (large sigh and the occasional aww from the crowd)

Hey all! Just doing a post to wish you all a Merry Christmas! I've your not feeling festive yet... i have no idea what to say here. I am working on a new toon atm, it is completely abstract and will leave you saying, 'what the fridge just happened?!'. Basically I was getting a bit bored and fancied doing a bit of frame by frame animation, try out some nice particle effects such as explosions etc. I thought, so far my cartoons have either been good graphics, or good animation, why not do both? Sat Nav was good graphics, but quite rubbish animation, so to make up for it, i bring you..... <insert title here>, which isn't the title btw. It's difficult to think of a title for a cartoon with no plot or reason.

So here's a montage picture, showing all the particle effects and stuff, looks a bit scruffy atm, but the animation is as smooth as... smooth:

thankyou guys for pestering Tom and Wade into making a portal collection and supporting my campaign, the dream is now a reality (apologies for the cheesiness). Anyway, there is now a portal collection, which doesn't include mine yet...... -.- but it does include another cartoon similar to mine that was made AFTER mine, and managed to reach front page, daily first 1st, STUPID THING!!!!! No, i'm not jealous :) hehe only joking, it's a great toon and deserves to be there, as do all the others, but i would really, really, like to see mine there NOW! please. ^^

there are four perfect examples of how the game is becoming more and more popular on NG, also there are a large array of half-life, half-life2 and other valve spoofs, (and I'm sure we will be seeing Team Fortress 2 spoofs soon, heck, it's already a cartoon!)

Anyway, on a personal note, i am taking a break from 'tooning' for a short while to enjoy the christmas festivities and exams, well not enjoy exams.. but........ you get the point. Anyway, i shall keep you posted on upcoming cartoons, and remember support the new collection!

Hi, Sat Nav has been out and about for around a week now, and has done really well, thanks for everyone who contributed to the high score :) but i could do with it being in funny cartoons collection, that should bump it in popularity above 'Potato Boy' :D

Also, just today, 22nd October, A portal spoof called 'Portal : Still Alive' has been created. by me. It uses the artwork from the training videos in the trailer to add a cool effect to the already awesome song. go check it out if you haven't already!
